Brooksville
First United Methodist Church, 109 S Broad St., will host a Little Pig Jig barbecued rib fundraiser beginning at noon Sunday. Proceeds benefit the youth program. Community Bible Church Night of 10 residential car trunk had been broken, 5041 Griffin Road, will honor veterans from 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when Conservative Christian Teens for America present Rolling Thunder, escorted by the Hernando County Sheriffs Office and guest speaker and former World War II POW TSgt. John Quigley. Blue and Gold Star Mothers will be recognized, and there will be string melodies and vocals by the teens. Hudson High Schools Junior ROTC and Hernando County Fire Rescue will present colors.
